Every baby is a Special Delivery- I am so lucky that I have been chosen to photograph these precious little people.  Newborn and baby photos are some of the most fun I get to have in the studio.  Keep watching, some summer fun images will be up in a few days!

I met the bride about 6 years ago.  From the moment I met her I knew this kid had spark!  Alysha came to me a few months back and told me she was getting married and I was the only person she wanted to photograph her most important day.  How can a photographer refuse that?!

Tonight we got to play in the warm spring air- to capture the love that these two obviously have for each other.  Makes me think of 16 years ago when I was first engaged to Mr. Coe. *sigh*

Happy Mother's Day!

To the new moms who will celebrate their first Mother's Day. To the frazzled mothers of toddlers and to the mom's pinching themselves that their 'babies' are SO big (that's me!)

To the fur-baby moms- and mothers of feathered and scaly babies, too, your babies may not be able to express in words how much you mean to them, they love and thank you.

To the women who have struggled with infertility, miscarriage or infant loss who long to be parents- you are no less a mother than I am, though your heart and arms ache you are still a mother in a different form. You count, too.

To the mothers who have lost children at ANY age, I ache for you, I know I can't fully understand your pain, my heart holds yours.

To the mothers of children who have run away or are missing, my heart is with you. Your struggle should not be yours alone- you are loved.

To the children who have had contentious relationships with their mothers, you are loved by your community. Wishing you peace and tranquility.

To the single moms who are dads, too- you have super powers that many of us will not know.

To the single dads who are moms in their own special capacity- being the mom AND dad has it's special challenges- you are GREAT!

To the children of women who have departed, wishing you peace and love knowing that your mother's loving energy is surrounding you today.

To the special 'aunties' and neighbors and communities who have adopted folks new to their town- your bonus motherhood means so much to those around you- and to their biological mothers.

To adoptive mothers and the birth parents to the adopted children- wow! What a gift to be able to build a family together, your selflessness amazes me!

Remember the people who are unconventional moms today, too. I know someone in each category- I love you all. You have helped me be the person I am.

Last week I got a frantic call.  A friend of a friend needed some Senior Portraits FAST!  Well, neither storm nor time constraints can keep this girl down!  We gathered up our resources and our iron will against the cold and made some amazing portraits.  Take a peek!

We have finally done it.  We have dipped our toes into the waters of international destination wedding photography!  Little ol' {In}spire Portrait is now available for international commissions!

Recently a photographer friend of mine was going to renew her vows in Costa Rica and asked us to photograph her most important day.  We were honored (but rushed) to be asked!  See, before this opportunity, we didn't even have our passports- we were asked to photograph the wedding on a Monday and we left Montana the following Saturday!  (Yes, it can be done, but it's gonna cost a pretty penny to rush your passports that much...)

We have found that we LOVE Costa Rica- if the kids were out of school we'd probably move there tomorrow!  Luckily for you the kids are here for a while and I have two years left on the studio lease- after that all bets are off...

As you probably already know, one of the things I love MOST about my job is photographing babies- newborns, droolers, crawlers, toddlers and even big babies like my husband, haha.  However, I don't usually photograph newborns with their families- it's just not something I have focused on up to this point.  Well, things are a changin'!

I am working on making portraits of family members with their new arrivals.  Making mom feel comfortable after she's just done a very hard job is important- and I have a lot to learn!  Over the coming months watch as we grow this part of our business! 

For the moment, enjoy what we've been working on! 

Sweet little Ezekiel has a big name to grow in to.  No, not Ezekiel- his middle name is Optimus Prime.  Yeah- take that boring middle names!

Yesterday E came in for his first portrait session- and didn't sleep a wink.  We prevailed today!

His momma and daddy are huge superhero fans, so we went with it!
