Do you ever feel as though the universe is conspiring against you? At this moment I am blaming my dependence on internet technology and the development of the toaster. I am very big on instant gratification, so is it really so much to ask when I click the button on my computer that it will magically transport me to said page? Or when I pull the lever on the toaster that it  browns my son's waffle to golden perfection? But no, my computer has to really think about it, its taunting me and asking me if I am really sure about what I am about to do. I wish I could communicate with it, "Oh, thanks for asking, I guess your right I probably don't need that fancy fifty dollar thingamagig! I really appreciate you looking out for me" Then  it responds, "I am sorry for delay, glad I could help you think about it, but I have become unresponsive, do you wish to kill me?" Alright, alright, it really only asks if I want to kill the page but at this point it might as well ask for death.

Then there is the toaster...I thought we had worked out all the kinks on this thing. It was invented in 1919 along with short wave radios and arch welders, don't see me complaining about those! But going on strike when my son is hungry and before I've had my first cup of coffee is unacceptable. Patience is a virtue, but not my virtue. Why isn't speed and agility or multitasking virtuous? Perfection and invention are not synonymous.

I suppose it has all worked out for the best, Trent got to eat mom's from scratch waffles with peanut butter and bananas and all of you got a new blog!  So provided my computer doesn't crash here are some cuties of perfection straight from the McAmy, and remember to check out the Facebook page fo r  lots of exciting stuff! http://www.facebook.com/inspire.montana

While it seems Spring may be officially here, three days in to be precise; I am not so sure if the days are really getting longer or we have just been tricked into thinking they are by way of last week's daylight savings time. I heard a hilarious analogy regarding our governments tradition, which was: Only we can be tricked into thinking if you cut the top of a blanket off and sew it onto the bottom that it makes said blanket longer! The more and more I think about it, the more I have to admit I have been tricked for years and probably many more to come. I still miss you, my hour, but I will see you again next fall!

But with Spring comes flowers, that is after we get past all that white fluffy stuff! And here are some photos that made me feel very springy indeed! So as long as we can keep the snow at bay for a few seasons, we may actually see some springiness
Hopefully you are now {In}spired to go get some of your own springy photos taken! Give us a call at (406)-868-1663 to set up an appointment. And don't forget to check out the Facebook page  http://www.facebook.com/inspire.montana, Be looking for our very Easter {In}spired photos of the day!

We're not even 48 hours into daylight savings time and I am already missing that hour they stole from us! You really wouldn't think it would make that much of a difference, but man, I'm pooped! But the good news is we have an extra hour of daylight and we are creeping closer to spring.

In other news did you know that today is national baked scallops day? I am very disappointed that I missed national white chocolate cheesecake day, which, by the way is March 6, and is also frozen food day. I find this very bizarre and question the people who have made it their mission to make a national food anything day, but to each there own. I don't need a specific day to eat awesome foods! But who am I kidding I walk into a store to buy a new dress and end up with a frying pan that I am much more satisfied with than I could ever been with an article of clothing.

Easter is right around the corner and with that, all the cutest outfits are out on the store racks, in every variety of pastel. Just perfect to dress your little one up in and get some great photos taken! Call today to schedule your shoot (406)-868-1663. And don't forget to like us on Facebook for all our new and special offers! http://www.facebook.com/inspire.montana  We also have a fun new photo posted everyday for your viewing pleasure. Hope you have a great week!

Hello long lost friends!  What a year it has been!  I know, It's been nearly a year since I have blogged.  Have me beaten with a wet noodle.  Since we last 'talked' a lot of things have grown and changed with Inspire Portrait.  In the coming weeks and months watch the blog to see all the exciting changes that are coming up!

Don't pretty pregnant bellies make you feel springy?  Maybe it's just me, but all that anticipation and growth just makes me feel a kind of hope I only feel in the spring. Cloeie is such a dear little momma!  She has this sweet infectious giggle- she is so excited about her new son.  Well, instead just talkin' about it I outta just show you.  Here ya go- and just think, in the next few weeks I'll be showing you her pretty baby!

beautiful girls all over the world
i could be chasing but my time would be wasted
they got nothin' on you baby
nothin' on you baby
they might say hi and i might say hey
but you shouldn't worry about what they say
cause they got nothin' on you baby
nothin' on you baby

B.O.B- Nothin on You

OK, I have a feeling that wasn't the original intent of the song- but I sure can spend a lot of time thinking about photographing beautiful girls!  Yesterday I met some very very beautiful girls, and their daughters (*grins*)

Yesterday's first session was with a 4 month-old little lady who is being baptized on Sunday.  Yesterday was her first professional portrait session, I have a feeling this will be the first of MANY!  She was SUCH a HAPPY baby.  Her mommy just glows in motherhood, too.
My second session with 9 month old Mackenie.  Yet another perfectly happy baby!  She would smile and giggle and laugh and clap her hands.  Her mother is so very busy with three older children, I am just not sure where she gets the energy!

Whew!  I gotta say- some of my favorite images of all time were created yesterday.  Dang, I am one lucky girl!

What is in the water these days?!  So many baby bumps, so many babies- this town is gonna burst at the seams!  In the very near future I have heard that there will be up to 35 newborns just among the people I know.  Whew.  Brace yourself blog followers- it's gonna rain babies!

This pretty momma has the most gorgeous skin I have ever worked on.  Beyond just having that 'pregnant glow'  she just has gorgeous skin.

I can't hardly wait to meet the new baby- if he is even half as cute as his big brother he's gonna be a heart-breaker!

Babies are grand- they are even a lot of fun when they are still on the inside!  In three short weeks this little bump with be a little person I get to snuggle up and love on!  I can't hardly wait!  Miss Bump's sweet momma will be in before she is 2 weeks old for some amazing portraits.  I can't hardly wait!

How much do you know about Kranz Flowers and Gifts?  I know that when I was a kid it was THE place for beautiful flowers, plants and high-end gifts.  I also know that in 2010 Kranz was purchased by a new owner.  I know that since ownership has changed they are 'Bringing Quality Back' and that is the case in every way possible.  Kranz is truly experiencing a renaissance- new blood brings good new things!

Right now, I would like to introduce you to the new owner, Brandon.  He's a great guy, he has a lot of experience in the world of sales and running a business.  Not only that, he's really doing amazing things with a treasured Great Falls company.  I am honored to have had the opportunity to make a portrait of Brandon in one of his coolers.

If you haven't been in Kranz in a while, go check it out.  Go introduce yourself- show Brandon how excited we are to see his shop gong gang-busters!
