Well, I'm guessing as the snow is piling up outside that I spoke too soon about my spring feeling! The good news is Great Falls is having its annual home and garden show next weekend to help better prepare us for our spring {In}spiration! Spring should be right around the corner, but no promises since we live in Montana! Starting 3pm on Friday the 30th the Home and Garden show will be open and {In}spire Portrait and Design will be there too! Come check out the booth for some special Mother's Day offers and a drawing for a chance to win some cool prizes!

Also if you have had pictures taken in the last year, McAmy is working on free Facebook timelines for anyone who is interested! Just shoot us a message on Facebook and let us know, don't forget to hit the "like" button while you're there http://www.facebook.com/inspire.montana. Hope to see you all next weekend!

While it seems Spring may be officially here, three days in to be precise; I am not so sure if the days are really getting longer or we have just been tricked into thinking they are by way of last week's daylight savings time. I heard a hilarious analogy regarding our governments tradition, which was: Only we can be tricked into thinking if you cut the top of a blanket off and sew it onto the bottom that it makes said blanket longer! The more and more I think about it, the more I have to admit I have been tricked for years and probably many more to come. I still miss you, my hour, but I will see you again next fall!

But with Spring comes flowers, that is after we get past all that white fluffy stuff! And here are some photos that made me feel very springy indeed! So as long as we can keep the snow at bay for a few seasons, we may actually see some springiness
Hopefully you are now {In}spired to go get some of your own springy photos taken! Give us a call at (406)-868-1663 to set up an appointment. And don't forget to check out the Facebook page  http://www.facebook.com/inspire.montana, Be looking for our very Easter {In}spired photos of the day!

These cowpokes are the real deal.  These little fellas came into the studio with an authenticity of cowboy-hood that you don't see every day.  They are kind and courteous- true gentlemen and a delight to have in my studio!

Check back tomorrow for a video- but for tonight, here are a few of my favorite images.

Yee-haw!

Yes, I worked on Easter.  I figure, folks are already dressed up and my kids are kinda past the Up Early for Candy stage so, why not?

I worked with three families I had never worked with before and one I had.  I had a GREAT time meeting new folks and reconnecting with others.  We made some awfully pretty pictures, just have a look-see!

What is in the water these days?!  So many baby bumps, so many babies- this town is gonna burst at the seams!  In the very near future I have heard that there will be up to 35 newborns just among the people I know.  Whew.  Brace yourself blog followers- it's gonna rain babies!

This pretty momma has the most gorgeous skin I have ever worked on.  Beyond just having that 'pregnant glow'  she just has gorgeous skin.

I can't hardly wait to meet the new baby- if he is even half as cute as his big brother he's gonna be a heart-breaker!

My job gives me the opportunity to get to know wonderful people.  Roger is one of those wonderful  people.  I met Roger 3 years ago when he came to model for me.  Since that time he has become a very dear friend to me.  I have watched Roger grow from a nice kid into a man on the edge of greatness.  This guy is going places- and one day I will be able to say "I knew him when..."

During Christmas Roger surprised his Gramma by bringing his cousin to Great Falls to surprise her with all three of her grandbabies in one place.  To commemorate this visit we HAD to do a session, no question about it!  We had SO much fun- I think I love his sister and cousin as much as I love him!  What a fun bunch of people!

Thank you for becoming part of my world, Rog, you make my world a better place.
